  • I've got long curly hair too and have to use strong hold mousse and gel/goo type stuff to get the curl to hold otherwise I just end up with frizz, these anti-frizz serums do nothing for my hair. I do get layers cut back into mine when it gets a bit triangular looking. Is yours like this?... (sorry, pic's a bit blurred)

No, mine is a good bit shorter and I have a fringe, my curls are less well defined though I do get some cute ringlets!
Also boring old brown but tbh I am in my early fifties and you look a lot younger. Maybe I can find a photo somewhere.
I have been reading up on a homemade banana hair mask which I might try tomorrow, of course I do not have any whole milk or full fat yogurt to put in it! I'm going to blend a bnbana with some coconut oil and honey and leave it on for half an hour or so.

I'm 48 next week and going severely grey, hence the blonde, but thank you! ;)

Yup, I've kept the face. The figure is another matter. But then my sons say I'm "mummish" and 'cuddly'.

Even the xhusband says I've aged well and don't look my 53 years.

I agree that you probably need some more fat in your diet, try introducing some really nutritious fatty foods e.g. fatty fish and nuts.
If you start eating more fats and checking you get all your vits and minerals you'll start to look better in a few months.

Just use the coconut oil as a hair mask, it will do plenty of good left on over night or for as long as possible. Personally I don't like coconut oil for everyday hair styling as unrefined coconut oil (the type with the most good stuff in it) makes hair go crunchy but try rubbing another oil through damp hair to smooth it.

I know you said you eat a healthy diet but if it's low fat there's a good chance it may not be as healthy as you might have been lead to believe. Christopher Gardner's lecture on youtube is a bit long but worth watching.

I have ordered a fewsamples of face oils from Essentially yours!
I am also hoping that the application of 4 squares of dark chocolate per day taken internally will help:)

SOund to me like you need the Gym.

Horrible though, I know, but after weight loss every body needs toning. I'e' replace FAT with MUSCLE.
NOt biceps Etc - Just the layer of muscle that has disappeared.

Start off with a morning daily bike ride if you can.

I dont honestly think so. I walk about 2 to 3 miles a day with the dog, on the flat and up steep hills. Im quite well toned, in that I seem to have discovered that my muscle tone was there all along, under the fat. Its my peaky wee face that is the big problem.
