I know it sounds boring but I haven't had a trip to cinema for 20 months oo sucks, haven't had a meal out just as a couple either.

But like others have said save save save.
  • Go out in the evening! It's the one thing that's a hassle when you've got a little one.

Yes, and have a big lie in on a weekend. I've not had a lie in for 3 years now! (ok, i consider 7.30am a lie in now)

If finances afford it, a city break to somewhere nice. I went to Madrid recently and it was a great city for sightseeing, and not expensive (for a European capital). That said, you don't want to carry around a big bump in the heat!

raven83, As a treat for myself, I have saved up lots of annual leave so I can take a day off a week the last few weeks, in case I'm tired and uncomfortable.
I am also thinking I may have a special treat day just before I'm due, to get my hair and nails done and look after myself a bit.

rachbc, My OH does love special days out when we have them, he just doesn't always have the ideas in the first place. Cinema does sound nice though, he does like that.

Those days off would be best spent taking your maternity leave a few weeks early than odd days here and there that wont make any difference to how rested you feel.
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
