Just sold first eBay item, now what? Help pls!

I have just sold my first ever eBay item :j for quite a bit more than expected woo hoo :j :j

Do i send an invoice, then wait for payment (I'm signed up with PayPal) and then send the item off?

Is there anything else I need to do? Any more info I need to give the bidder about returns etc?



It's all a bit complex!

Yup, send the invoice, wait for payment, then send the item. You dont need to do anything else, but acknowledging receipt of their payment or telling them when the item will be/was posted is a nice gesture....

i.e *Thank you for your prompt payment. Your item will be posted tomorrow and should be with you in a few days.*


If the buyer has any further questions I am sure they will ask.

And no sending it to infamous african countries or any address not the confirmed Paypal address and send insured and signed for. And DON'T send before cheques have cleared into your account etc etc etc etc etc

Hi,

Yes Penny Lane- well spotted!! My posting on this eBay thread started because I was a bit worried people were getting too excited about the dress I was selling. Well, it sold (with 15 bids!) and I sent an invoice, the money came into my paypal account v.v. quickly, so the dress has been sent, (along with a confirming email) all packaged nicely etc.

And I will soon be leaving some lovely feedback too.

I am v proud of myself...
