Their T&C's dont override Consumer Law.
Yes reason with them by all means but if that fails tell them you will be charging them 10%interest per hour over base rate for every hour they hold your money, then send them a formal Letter Before Action.
Theyll crap themselves and give you your money.
Ebay and Paypal dont do court, it would open too many floodgates.

Can you post a link for the OP.
Threatening either ebay or Paypal is fine & dandy, regardless of whether it's correct, if you never want to use them again.

Paypals T&C's are online if she wishes to peruse them, however your final sentence is rubbish.

Ive issued 2 lots of legal proceedings, one against Paypal and one againt Ebay and am still a user and am still registered.
Obvously their desire for my money overules their ire that I sued them.

It would be more helpful if you could post a link to the relevant legislation covering this and also a case or two where a judge has actually agreed that what Paypal are doing is illegal.
Certainly. Check criminal law under 'Theft'

So are you suggesting that the OP attempts to introduce terms into their contract with paypal after that contract has already been agreed by both parties? something which in itself is illegal.
You dont understand contracts do you?, if one party is in breach then the contract ceases to exist. Paypal would be in breach by technically stealing her money. If I were her I would already have made a complaint to her local Police and CID
Well I suggest that you read the paypal user agreement again because the possibility of a 21 day hold IS ststed in there (and this user agreement forms part of the contract.
An Unfair contract is no contract. Check that ne out !
I don't agree with the 21 day hold in all instances, but stating that it is illegal without providing anything other than an opinion to back this up is pointless.
It wasnt opinion, its theft, pure and simple.

I had a similar situation with my bank when someone pulled £1200 out of my account and they accused me of doing it. The stopped my account and refused to let me have any further money out of it until they had investigated.
I called the Police who were at the bank within minutes.
I also informed them that, as the only place that details of my account could have been taken from my account was from their hole in the wall machine, their security was compromised and that I would get a court injunction to close the branch pending a full check of their security systems, and that I would also call all the newspapers informing them of my actions and that they would probably attend.

My account was opened an hour later and I got my £1200 back within 24 Hours.

Maybe he lives in a tiny village and knows the single local Bobby. You'd be hard pressed to get a Policeman out where I live in a big inner city town even for a robbery

Really? why. They were holding MY money and refusing me access to it, thats theft pure and simple as the nice policeman told them.
They would give NO date for allowing me access and refused to discuss it further. I had no choice. They had no legal right to hold on to my money when, as I pointed out to them it was THEIR card not mine therefor their security that was at fault.
I eventually received a full apology from head office about the actions of the bank staff and 2 people had were moved to other branches.

Maybe you might roll over and let them shaft you but I wont.

NO there are approx 50 officers at my local station, but only a small percentage of those out in public.
I suspect it was a bit of excitement for them.

    Here we go.
Yet another responder who makes ridiculous claims and when asked to provide some proof of these simply uses the old ploy of telling people to find the proof for themselves.

If you are so sure that what paypal is doing is illegal, why won't you provide one iota of evidence such as a court case or specific legislation to back this claim up?

So are you stating that a bank released details of an internal disciplinary investigation?
