They have also been on Dragons Den. Wonder whether they got any funding.?
Nope they didn't. I can't find out what the actual comments were but some reviews suggest they got a rough ride.
I do always feel a wee bit sorry for those who really believe in their product and the Dragon's down it.
Blokey still shouldn't have spammed here though.Herman - MP for all!0 -
I just put clothes on hangers and hang them from picture rails and doorways, sheets are draped over a couple of chairs set apart overnight.
I'm very cheap you know, even the hangers came from freecycle.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
I hadn't realised there were so many different types of airers around - mine is a wooden concertina type - you can still just about read where it says 17/6d written on it in biro! It's seen me bring up my family and has memories of the children, every house we've lived in etc. It's been a permanent part of the backdrop. I never give it a second thought and it's up now, used almost daily - I'm still in touch with the person who gave it to me too, when I first went to college. Hopefully these newer types do as well!0

been watching this with interest as my DD is living in a small flat in London and her airer has broke (not sure what style other than it was a plastic-coated metal one - wilko's maybe?)
i've recommended her the one i have from aldi that i bought in their clearance that was originally at £18 approx (bought for £5) some years ago as it's a big tall one that did trousers and towels really well. the ones on the market i found were far to short in height and couldn't really cope with big, long items. obviously, not the aldi one was a one-off, so is there something similar, and hopefully less than £20...
thanks in advance..0 -
There's this, for 30 quid:

I think you'll find it difficult to find a cheaper one, due to the size, but you may find one on Ebay or Amazon?February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
hmm, i've seen these before (not in person tho') and the slats in between look a bit too close for clothes to dry properly as there wouldn't be enough airflow around them. the height and width of the airer is ideal tho..0

Lamewolf - I just saw this and wondered if it's suitable for you? http://www.jmldirect.com/uk/laundry/addis-over-bath-airer/invt/a01ba10100000001/
Dogstarheaven - I have one in that style, from Ikea (which they no longer seem to sell) and find it great. Sometimes, if it is fully loaded, I find that certain items take longer to dry, but usually I find that they dry overnight. During summer, they dry within a few hours (our apartment typically reaches 30+ indoors during summer).
And.....you can always open it up fully, and leave more space between items (I only have it half open most of the time).
I also have a small rack which I hand over the radiator, and place smaller items on (socks, underwear). They always dry quickly, especially if the heating is on at all.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

I've had the flimsier ones, but the wires always seem to bend, and the little plastic doo-dobs at the apex of the "A" end up breaking - the current one is held together with string!:D
With the 'orrible wet weather we've been having lately, there are a lot of dog-towels wanting drying (I'm a host for a home-from-home dog sitting service) and my wax jacket and hat seem to live permanently in the bathroom - let alone drying the normal household washing!:D
Cheers.:beer:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
