Which Clothes Airer?

I don't think anyone in their right mind would pay 120 Euros for what is basically a shelf that blows air.
Oh and btw, I've reported you for spamming.
What have I missed here then!!! They have also been on Dragons Den. Wonder whether they got any funding.?
Absolutely agree aliasojo.0 -
While we're on the subject of indoor airers, I need a new one, but I need an A-frame type, with the sort of splayed feet that sits over a bath, and I need it to be heavy-duty.
What I need is the style shown on the left here
http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/addis-a-frame-overbath-wire-airer-108226
The feet particularly need to be like those shown here, but it needs to be much sturdier construction. It's got to take wax jackets that have been used for dog-walking in the rain on hangers on the ends, for instance.
We only have a tiny bungalow, so going over the bath is vital.
If anyone can help me source what I need, I'd be most grateful, as I'm not doing very well thus far.:o I can find heavy-duty airers, but they don't have the over-the-bath feet.
TIA
Lamewolf -love your ID and pic - just a suggestion here. I know wax jackets are extremely heavy and your example certainly isn't sturdy enough.
Have you tried the company I phoned in my second link for advice?
There is also Lakeland and Wilkinsons.
I remember seeing another airer with hooks but it was very expensive...

Or would it be possible to construct a solid rail across the bath...quite high up or is your shower rail strong enough?0 -
I'm being a sad person again.
Wouldn't you just love a utility room big enough to house this?

I also have one similar to the first you posted which is great for clothes, but quite low to the ground so not as good for sheets because you have to fold them quite a bit to fit them on.
I have one like this, from Ikea (I only bought it last year, but it seems to have disappeared from their product list) and love it! I can fold half of it away so that it fits in it's usual spot, but also open it out on the weekends, when I am able to do more washing. I'm always draping washing bedsheets over it too, no problem.
I've never had a wooden one, so can't comment either way. The one I have is metal, with plastic covering, and it's lasting really well. I haven't had a problem with it yet (other than trying to carry the heavy thing home on the train! lol).February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Is this a joke?

I think JML does something like this. I know my Mum has several. They are great but.......what I have found is that if there is only one heavy item hung on it, it becomes unbalanced and tips over (though it can handle 2 heavy items if each one is on a different rail). So, it might not be suitable for Lamewolf.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Let's hope Lamewolf gets sorted soon.Sure there must be something.0

I see someone's mentioned JML - I'll have a look into that in a bit (got a spaniel pestering for a walk right now):D
*gulp* £158 for a clothes airer? I hope it's gold plated!!:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I found this: http://www.blokker.nl/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDetails?storeId=10001&langId=-104&catalogId=10002&categoryId=&productId=122138
Is it suitable? I've been trying to find it somewhere else, but so far unsuccesful. I would be happy to purchase it on your behalf and send it to you though (I've checked, and they won't deliver outside NL).
I'll keep looking for it elsewhere though (if suitable).February wins: Theatre tickets0
