    There is no refund due on a disabled licence, that form will not change the taxation class - that has to be done at a local DVLA office, not a Post Office.

    OP has said they're not near one, and it can be done by post. sb has the right advice, my post follows on from his and wealdroams. When the v5 comes back the op is required to surrender the old tax disk as a formality for a refund, (which will be £0) as it can no longer be used and must legally be returned, and can then purchase a new tax disk at the plg price, as required to put the car back on the road.
