Hello,
Does anybody have any experience in Power Of Attorney? My Mother In Law has severe Alzheimers and I think it's time for my husband to take this step but I have no idea where to start. Any advice would be welcomed, many thanks.

However, if MiL already has "severe Alzheimers" and a POA has not already been drawn up it is too late for a POA. You need to apply to the Court Of Protection to appoint a Deputy. This is a more complex and expensive than drawing up a POA while the donor still has mental capacity.
