Don't think you can see if they are bidding on anything else but you could do a seach on the ommunity for their user name and see what details you can drag up on them

you cant see what other items people are bidding on anymore, only items they have actually won....0

I don't think there is. It could be that they have been looking out for the item you are selling and have registered to try and get it. We all had to start somewhere. In the past I have sold items that I thought went for ridiculous amounts and in more than one case I have emailed my highest bidder to point out exactly what they are buying. (I once sold a pushchair cover for nearly £30, I emailed to point out that the pushchair wasn't included, and they emailed back to say that hadn't been able to find this particular cover for love nor money). You never know, if they really want it then people will pay over the odds. Is anyone else selling the same item? That tends to keep the price down a bit .0

thanks for the replies...there are lots of the same thing i am selling on ebay going cheaper.
I will leave the auction to run and see what happens i could always re list.

You could always send them a message and try to sound them out - see if they come across as genuine. My TV is broken!

I would say... hello, noticed you're a new bidder so I thought I'd drop you a line. Sadly I've had a few 0 feedback time-wasters lately! I wonder if you'd mind letting me know roughly where you live (so that I can check out postage options in advance) and how you think you'll be paying if you win. Thanks in advance!
Is there a pattern to their bidding, or are all of those 8 bids on your item?My TV is broken!
