No network signal....refund?

Options
Hiya,

My partner is on the 3 but has lost his network signal since Friday due to a problem with a local mast. So he is unable to make or receive calls and texts, or to use his data allowance.

I wondered if it is possible to request some kind of refund or reimbursement due to loss of service (he's on a contract)?

Thanks

Phone them up and ask them, the compo is usually on a per day basis, so if you are paying £15 per month you would get 50p/day.

You only get this if their online reporting system confirms the service local to you is off - but clearly you may be out and about, so if there are chargeable calls made during the period. this impacts on the discount.

That said, they are usually quick to agree and the credit appears on your next bill.
