Lloyds to First Direct SO

On another note....... I'm now having to ring Halifax to set up standing orders back to Lloyds. Supposedly a TWENTY minute wait!! Grrrr...0

Why? You can do that through online banking.

It's because I just opened the account - guy on the phone says leave it for 7 days and then my home phone should be 'registered' so I can do it online (they ring up and I enter reference n.o into phone).
7 day wait it is then. Crikey, it takes a lot of time adding and switching accounts!0 -
I've just read back and thought I'd better let you know that some e.g monthly SOs/DDs from FD (and sometimes Halifax) won't show in the payments and transfers list as being paid until the day after the payment goes out. Your credit balance on the 1st account will show the money has gone but the 'Last Paid' date column in Payments & Transfers>Standing Orders/Direct Debits on online banking updates overnight.
HTH again,

So the money goes into the destination account on time.. but shows up late by one day on the source account? I'm leaving a good 4 days (Fri-Mon) between all SOs...!
My First Direct Regular Saver account still isn't showing up online. Will check it tomorrow.
STILL waiting for a cash transfer from my iii account to my Lloyds account that I initiated on Fri, but 3-5 working days is the norm, I guess..
I'm scared I'm going to lose track of all my money with all this shifting about!
Just got a letter from HSBC saying I got one of their current accounts (6% right?) - forgot all about it! Will have to think on it - got so much going on already. Anybody else got all these multiple accounts?0 -

I just opened the regular saver account and it said it would take my £300 monthly.. but it never said from which date!! Is there anywhere that tells you when this is so that I can time my Lloyds standing order?
Since I just opened it, it's not showing up on internet banking - or perhaps it's not meant to... can you see it on your internet banking?
Mine comes out each month on the day I opened the saver account.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0
