Afternoon All
nmlc - Hugs to you and your family, hope your Aunt is free from pain soon.
Raining this morning but stopped mid-morning. School sports day went ahead with children in jumpers and some in coats!! Still, it's over with for another year. I am the nasty person at the end who decides who wins so will probably have complaints from parents tomorrow!!
Chicken and veg for tea, DD will have hers warmed up when she gets in from work, washing still being dried on the airers and hoover pushed round.
Other work at 6 so will have a shower before I go.
Take care. XX0 -
Afternoon all,
Instead of the promised rain, it has so far been a lovely day here, sunny all day, clothes on line will be dry soon, sorry I didn't wash more but expected rain so decided to leave anything non-urgent.
Intrigued by the woof fish...have never heard of it before and would love to try it....do let us know how it tastes Sybil.
Is there football starting just now? Hear English national anthem so assume you are playing...France??? Means that I will have to find something to do for the evening as couldn't spend 2 evenings watching soccer....against my religion!!
Have finally got hold of guy to service boiler and fix oil leak....b***dy stuff is expensive enough without it soaking into ground. He is coming to-morrow so suppose cheque book will be punished.
Left over ham from yesterday for dinner, veg and potatoes, followed by rhubarb sponge cooked in microwave....looks so pale but will anoint with custard to cover up a bit.
nmlc...hope that your aunt is at peace soon.
Trying to decide where I want to go when in OZ...will be based in Perth with DD3 but would like to go south and return via coast, some travelling will be with DD4 and DGS2, some with relatives from Queensland and some with DD3, so will be a busy month....hope to fit in some time to do nothing!
Hugs to all in trouble of any kind or just needing a hug for no reason!

New here but just wanted to say how much I enjoy this board and particulaly the daily thread, and also hi to all
I love to read all your daily comings and goings.
I was up at 5am as dog has started a new regime of barking at 5 every morning them getting back into her bed and sleeping 'til 7 when the kids are up!

Oh Hester - how else are you supposed to know it wasn't for you if you don't read it?! And as for other people over spending their budgets - was this on repro? If not, it ain't nothing to do with you, and if it was, I am sure you will have told them more than enough times!
BTW - have you time to check out the ACAS website, as I am sure that what your employers have done is not legal without any consultation.0
