Could you explain your situation a little more? Are you saying that a transaction was initially logged but subsequently (incorrectly) revoked?
While it's good to be provided with an example of an honest attempt to deal with the situation as best they can for the benefit of their users, I can't see how this would work in the case where there are NO transactions logged due to a tracking error.
This problem is a much tougher nut to crack without opening yourself up to fraudulent claims from some of your more unscrupulous users (alas, there will always be a few bad apples in every cart).
cheers,

As I said, I don't know too much about the detail behind it, except mine and I recall a lot of others didn't track and in those days non tracking claims were allowed on this magazine deal.
Based on these claims and presumably the time stamped record of a click through from Quidco on Quidcos website an equitable method was devised to allocate funds they received. I assume Computer Shopper would have verified the order occurred even if they couldn't see the Quidco link behind it.
Really only posted to demonstrate that Quidco do try to distribute their receipts fairly even when things are not clearcut.0 -

Okeydoke - so it looks like they decided to take it on trust based on the clickthrough records and cashback enquiries alone.
Thanks for the clarification Roger.
