Staying with NTL/Virgin when moving house

I have recently moved into a house (in a cable area) which has a BT line installed but its not active. In my previous house I had telephone/broadband from NTL/Virgin Media. When I called them about transferring, they said that for £20/month I could have 2Mb broadband, free weekend calls and a basic TV package similar to freeview (I guess that this will be their medu=ium package) for 12 months. Evening calls can be free for an extra £5.50/ months and the contract is for 12 months
I think its pretty good deal, but has anyone managed to get a cheaper/better deal using BT/Sky ? bearing in mind that NTL/Virgin have always been OK IMO
Thanks in advance
