Computer keeps freezing

Hello yesterday my computer froze up on me leaving me no option to reboot it but now the problem is happening all the time

I recently formatted my hard and reinstalled windows 7 64 bit and it's still the same

Please an someone help me

    Somebody might be able to help if you gave a bit more information...

    Like what you do before it freezes, how long it runs for, what software/hardware you have installed, have you tried safe mode etc.

  • It can freeze at anytime say I am on the web or playing a game. It can sometime run for an hour and not freeze but today it has been say every 5 mins. I the defulult windows applications and google chrome and mallwarebytes. I have not yet tried safemode

    Boot it in safe mode with networking and see if it still freezes. If it only runs for about 5 minutes, it shouldn't take long to establish that.
    If it runs OK, then it is likely that something loading outside of the safe mode requirements is causing the problem. There are various people on here can advise you on further analysing what else is running, so hopefully one will come along and help.

  • Been running in safe mode for about 5 mins and know freezing as of yet

    It may worth while checking the temps using something like speccy from piriform , it may be overheating http://www.piriform.com/speccy
    Plus tell us what the pc is too, it may just be fluff and stuff building up

    When you re-installed, did you add any other drivers for video card etc

    If you click start then right click computer, click device manager, are the any marks listed next to items?

    Speccy will tell you which ones you may need, though it can take a while to gather the information

    im on a windup computer that ive just relit due to this problem
    it was the fan on the graphics card output dun it
    it was seized with fluffy stuff
    now unfluffied
    working fine

    The temputaur is 49 degrees on the motherboard and 41 degrees on graphics card.

    It is a custom built gaming pc the specs can be found on eBay here is the item number 270965459292

    Yes I installed the driver disc that the of came with and there is no problems or errors on devise manager

    So shouldi have aloof in the pc and see if its dusty/fluffy ?
