keep receiving nuiscance calls on T-mobile
Options
I have a T -Mobile business account since 1999 when was One2one and never had any problems at all.
3 months ago I took a extra sim card for my wifes phone, a long with a new number.
After a few days she started to receive calls from the same 2 mobile numbers ,either missed calls or no one there .
I contacted T -mobile and I then ported her old Virgin number which she had since 2003 ,thinking this would solve the problem.
Sadly not still the same 2 numbers keep calling, why when this number was never known to anyone and the same 2 mobile numbers keep calling.
I called t -mobile who said sorry but register with TPS ,which I did.
The calls have continued and I called one number and guy answer said he did not know he called ,the other number does not answer.
Called T -Mobile Friday who did call both numbers ,one does not answer and the guy told them my wifes number is similar to his friends -my reply to T -mobile was that the 2 numbers are totally different .
Switched phone on today and yet more missed calls from this same guy .
Any suggestions or help, or why this is happening ?
Many thanks.

Leave your phone off? You simply cannot prevent it if someone choses to call your number, whether by accident or design. My old Nokia used to dial random numbers and connect when in my pocket, and I've been known to remember numbers I dial wrongly too.
Whilst I don;t make a habit of it, the only solution it to switch numbes in the hope the callers to it will be wanted, but there are no guarantees!0 -
Avast and Kaspersky apparently have Call filtering on ther AV apps for smart phones0

If I receive a nuisance call I add it to a contact I've set up called "Junk"; if I get a call again I know to ignore it.0
