wildfire s calender question

hello all, i know about pc's, photography and cars, but i must confess to being a mobile phone newb

i have something i would like to do, but not sure if its possible. my wife and i both have wildfire s mobiles and both have gmail accounts, is it possible to sync the two phones in a way so that if either of us add items to a calender on either phone, it updates the info on both phones?

Wife's calendar >> Settings >> Calendars >> Share this calendar >> ...(add yourself, select permissions)

Your calendar >> Other calendars >> Add friend's calendar.


And vice-versa.

lol, i didnt expect there to be a setting for it, i assumed it would be really tricky to sort out. thank you very much

I've done this on the computer and it works.
However, nothing changed in the phone... Something seems to be wrong with synching.

I'm sure you already know, but settings, accounts &sync, G , then sync calendar.
