I have always said 50% real crash from top to bottom. I have never given a time limit. I have guessed we are nearly halfway through but not quite.
yeah, i remember you saying that way way back in may when you first joined
gosh how time flies, it only seems like yesterday. :T'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.'

thank goodness his darth vader and the joker accounts are still active, at least that's some kind of fallback.
just has to avoid ramping silver on either of those accounts to keep them going i guess.'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.'

A really poor graph to try to make the point there's no slow correction occuring.
All the evidence really does point to the fact IT IS occuring and a graph from 1950-now really doesn't disprove that.
Of course his claim to have "generally anticapted" a slow correction is rubbish. He anticipated a crash. But he's changed his mind and I think he's right now.... although of course he's left open his route to return to his "crash scenario" with some comments about it being conditional on banks.
Who cares if its a slow correction or a crash, property is going down. All the perma prop bulls who were ramping property till they were blue in the face have been proved wrong.
Now the only debate is when will the bottom be reached? The thing about chaos is, it's fair.0 -

I am currently recruiting for the brand new "3.895% Club". The name comes from the precise drop in house prices [Nationwide Q Index Q4 2007 to Q2 2012] us poor wretches in the Outer Met area have suffered.
The club's objectives will include celebrating the return to higher than average equity gains as prices begin to move upwards again. We will start off by predicting that house prices will double within 18 months. Then [to copy the 70% club] we will spend the next 18 months giving out lame excuses, false information, and 'explanations' to point out that when we said they will double in 18 months, we really meant they would double from 1982 prices. Or that we really meant that the latest 1.6% rise will double to 3.2%.
Membership will be awarded only to those who an come up with the most ridiculous excuses as to why we got it wrong.
Monthly meetings will be held in the "Pie in the Sky" pub situated on the High St., La-La Land.0 -

Too good to be hidden in a 70% thread.
You should post as a new thread.:wall:

I now think it will be between 50% and 70% real fall from top to bottom. But the bottom is a long way off, only after interest rates have gone back to normal and all the repossessions have been cleared out.The thing about chaos is, it's fair.0
