I like Chanel no 5 and one called Happy. For everyday I wear one of several floral based perfumes.
One of the perfumes my teenage daughter wears is Coty L'aimaint. I wore it when I was her age and my 81 year old Mum said she wore it too at a similar age.0 -
Opium - Yves Saint Laurent
Coco Mademoiselle - Chanel0 -
I love the old stuff.
Amarige..Givenchy
Spendour and Sunflowers..Elizabeth Arden
Shalimar..Guerlain
Rush..Gucci
Contradiction and Escape..Calvin Klein
Feminine..D&G.
Paris.. YSL
I don't own all these unfortunately for me but usually get oil copies from Perfume Parlour.
I am reminicing with Spendour by Elizabeth Arden at the mo as it was 125ml for a tenner

Mine is currently Kenzo Jungle, it has the most amazing, hypnotic smell, and one spray lingers all day.0

Someone asked if anyone had used Jo Malone Pomegranite Noir . I have . It's a very strong and distinctive fragrance . I liked it at first but then couldn't stand it anymore . I sat next to someone wearing it and I couldn't wait to move away. It's not that I just don't like heavier perfumes . I used to wear Opium, Youth Dew etc. Anyone remember Pagan ?!
Roma is sold in Forget Flowers in Metrocentre , Gateshead, if that is anywhere near where the person looking for it lives . I used to like it and had a spray of it last week . Still smells nice. At the moment I like L'Occitane Verbena and Armani Code is another favourite . I don't seem to smell them on myself for long which is a bit disappointing .0 -
Interested to know what perfumes everyone likes. I'm on the lookout for some new ones as I use the same ones every time. I love Davidoff Coolwater, the original Christina Aguilera perfume, the original Thierry Mugler Womanity perfume and CK Eternity for women. What about you guys?
I have a lot of different perfumes - ever since I moved to London and have more choice in the local shops I've gone a bit perfume crazy - going to take me a LONG while to use them up. (I reckon I must have at least 20 bottles)
Some I found out about through reading Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez's book "Perfumes the A to Z guide" which is a brilliant read, from the hilariously !!!!!y reviews of perfumes they don't like to the almost poetic of those they love. I don't always agree with their views but they have got me wearing things I'd not heard of before and love, like Apres L'ondee by Guerlain.

One of my current favourites is Nirmala by Moulinard which is quite a tropical fruity sort of smell. I got that plus quite a few other niche fragrances from my local perfumery, lucky to have one with a really good collection of unusual things. Although my credit card might not agree with the word lucky....0 -
I usually wear Clarins and I love both the original and the blue one. They did a special summer one a few years ago and that was very nice too.
I have just bought a bottle of Britney Spears Midnight. Not that I like her but I was in a shop and smelt this gorgeous perfume and a girl told me what it was. It was truly lovely so off I toddled and bought a big bottle at a special offer price in Superdrug (about £20) but it doesn't smell as nice on me somehow.0 -
Another vote for Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, adore it but its too expensive.
I second Britney Spears all her perfumes are lovely and I love the bottle of Radiance. Think Britney is nice for teens/young adults as its fun and light.
I got Very Hollywood by David Kors for x-mas as a gift (I just liked the look of the glittery bottle) but it smells really nice. Bit expensive to buy again though.
I just bought Boss Orange and love it. The smell reminded me of a Polly Pocket Perfume Bracelet I had when I was 3/4 (how mad is it that I remember that smell and am 21). Suppose that's the nice thing about scents brings back nice forgotten memories.0 -
i usually prefer body sprays.. instead of strong smelled perfumes ..0
