Chanel Allure Sensuelle.
It's the ONLY one I wear, have done since the kids were born and they totally associate the smell with me. If they smell it somewhere else or on someone else they go "Mmmmm, Mummy...!!"
When I used to leave them with sitters when they were little, I used to spray the Chanel on a favourite toy and it promoted instant relaxation.
My mum did all of this for me and my brother except her scent was a little less expensive. She used Coty L'aimant and I have a bottle buried deep in my wardrobe. I just take the top off and have a long sniff for a blissful sense of nostalgia. Fabulous.

my kids associate Rive Gauche with me, but I can't wear it any more as it's been reformulated & smells horrible to meChanel Allure Sensuelle.

but if they smell it on someone else still they go "Mmmmm, Mummy...!!" & they're all aldults now
oh yes Coty L'aimant, my mum & granny used to always have some of that, so evocative, just a whiff takes me right back to childhood :A0 -
I like Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf x0

I was given a bottle of Chanel No 19 on my 19th birthday. It was probably a bit grown up for me then but I loved it and have been wearing it since. I've tried other perfumes over the years but always go back to No 19. The pure parfum is my favourite. Expensive but a bottle usually turns up at Christmas and/or Valentines.0

I own loads of perfumes, and class all as unisex. Just bought Boucheron Jaipur Homme warm spicy.
My favourite at the moment Parfumerie Generale 14 Iris Oriental.0 -

My mum always wore Rive Gauche and it had the same effect on me - shame its been reformulated didn't know that
I used to like chanel no 5 and Angel but I smelled them both on other people when I had horrific morning sickness and now even a whiff of either makes me feel sick. Also my skin changed after both pregnancies and I scents that I used to like don't smell good on me anymore - inc a very extenspive bottle of Apres L'OndeePeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Interested to know what perfumes everyone likes. I'm on the lookout for some new ones as I use the same ones every time. I love Davidoff Coolwater, the original Christina Aguilera perfume, the original Thierry Mugler Womanity perfume and CK Eternity for women. What about you guys?
I like Davidoff Coolwater and Thierry Mugler Womanity but find the later does not last very long at all so I tend to use it with the body moisturiser which means I can smell it all day.
I also like Ysatis, Chanel #19 & Coco (not mademoiselle) and Fendi.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
No 5 for me. Got loads of perfume but always go back to that old faithful.0

My fave of all time is Clinique Wrappings - discontinued but found they were selling it again at Gatwick airport, was over the moon! Keep it for special occasions though!
For everyday I like Clarins Eau Dynamisante (but in winter only weirdly!) and O De Lancome or the green apple one by DKNY
Evenings for me it's my fave or J'adore by Dior. Wore that on my wedding day, brings back ace memories

That's interesting because I find that Womanity lasts for about 2 days on me which I love. I've never known any other perfume to do so0
