ound that just 10% of spend by all-inclusive tourists found its way into the regional economy."
So its my fault that the Good/ nice hotels are not owned by the locals ?
At least they are providing employment.0 -
We went AI to Blue Domes in Kos. It was awesome! Helped a lot that we got engaged then too
We were lucky - we went in October, and got upgraded there because the resort we *were* booked in to had shut early for the season.
I can't comment on the politics of where the money goes, but we did have a great time there. Loads of different food choices, right by the beach, friendly staff, short walk to town - but quiet enough on the resort if you just wanted to chill out.
Can you tell I'd love to go back?

I was also going to suggest blue lagoon in Kos. Think it's in Lambi. It's near Kos Town, it was called Luca Blue Lagoon when we went.0

We went AI to Mitsis Roda Beach in Corfu in October 2010 and loved it. They do emply locals there and they are all lovely!!!! You can also take a walk along the beach or jump in a taxi to the lovely little town and pop into the bars etc there. We did but at that time of year a lot of places were closed which is the reason we went AI also.

Best wins so far: £500, GHD styler, Tassimo T40 Machine0 -
