Really sorry to hear you had such a bad day Sista, I don't have children so can't offer any advice, I always think it's easy for us childless folk to say oh do this and do that, as we have no idea what a difficult job you do. All I can say is you sound like someone who wants to give her children some boundries so that they grow up to be great people. :)On the smoking side, as an ex smoker myself I still sometimes crave one when fed up etc. it's only one cigarette in 14 weeks for what it's worth I think your doing really well.Hope today is a much better day for youFaeLBM 29/10/2013 £14,218.00 As of 13/04/2014 £6477.00

Hi Sista, I feel your pain with the kids. We've got 3 boys, the older two are 13 and 18 and as far a discipline is concerned I'm always the 'bad cop' and my OH the 'good cop'. I sometimes think I can be too controlling and nosey at whats going on on FB and the like. But stick to your guns you are doing a great job and I'm sure you'll be thanked in the long run.
Hope you've got a bit of sunshine to help cheer you up.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

ahh i'm sorry about the problems with your ds. I have one who is 13 (14 in October) and he has downloaded !!!!!! & also goes on fb and i've gone nuts before and dh right in front of him turned round and said to me 'what do you expect, he's male, he's a teenager, chill out' omg i nearly went nuts and never mind the smiley banging his own head on the brick wall......but i've given up now anyway. He goes to boarding school and i can't monitor him 24/7
so i just have to trust he's not doing anything too bad i suppose. He has a lock on his mobile though which noone is allowed to touch...so that immediately makes me suspicious.....perhaps it's just us mums who are too over protective ?? lol xx

 Feeling much better now
Thanks for all the comments they all helped
and it's good to know i'm not completely over-reacting
We have come to a compromise, he is allowed FB and password protection but he must tell us the passwords to both or they will be confiscatedand if he is caught watching anything 'inappropriate' or talking to girls in that way then it will be taken from him
Shopping today spent £70 in total, car fund pot up to £130, christmas savings pot up to £150 and still have our standard emergency pot at £1200 so it's going in the right direction and hopefully we won't have any nasty surprises
Still need to book our Gatwick parkingas only 5 weeks to go
Hope everyone else has had a good Friday 13th :eek:DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0
