I was going to say http://www.lovefilm.com as it is legitimate and doesn't risk this thread being deleted. Why assume the OP is asking for something illegal?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

i thought there were certain sites where you could download to watch on the computer and it's legal? or am i in fairyland again??
It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Elljay - take it easy mate. If your pc is already slow, get it quicker and THEN look for films.
What sort of films do you mean? (No I didn't mean that!!)
Full movies are huge files - sky anytime for example - and take hours to download.
A friend of mine once knew the cousin of someone who he'd spoken to in a pub - and he used one of these dvd rental services that send films out in the post.
Apparently it's possible to copy these, or shrink them onto phones/pda/psp's or similar... !!! All using freeware from the www.
It's all witch craft to me !
Youtube (careful) films can also , apparently, be harvested in a similar manner.:rotfl: :A

look, not trying to cause offence or get this thread deleted, i am a complete novice and most of what everyone is saying is going over my head. i don't know what's legal and what isn't, and that isohunt site makes no sense to me either!!
The link I gave is the only one posted so far that is completely legal and within the forum rules to post."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I believe http://www.wippit.com offer movies as well as music."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Yep - some of the films on that site can be downloaded. I haven't tried it, but I think the amount you pay determines how often the film will work once it's on your hard drive.0 -

Hi
just deleted some more posts above.
Sorry to cut short an interesting discussion but it is a complete blanket ban on discussing all filesharing topics - even discussing the legalities of it.
Please keep this thread on topic
Many thanks0
