just came back from doing another bit... so far delivered to 251 houses....
so hopefully if the bike starts hubby will take that to work tomorrow morning, so then i will have the car all day....
so can just load the car up with these blinking newspapers... and leaflets....
decided to do the easier parts of the round first..... and the the long onesided roads.... hubby can take me.... drop me off one end and meet me at the other....or in the middle for a top up of papers.....
but as hubby was saying its def... not worth the money....but its better than nothing at the mo.....plus i'm getting fit.....
i think it might be best to start a new thread totally for leaflet delivers moral support group...lol......Work to live= not live to work0 -

Hi CTC, I have my own business and have delivered many a leaflet (too expensive for a company like the one you are working for to do it:eek: ). It is hard word and the hardest time to leaflet is when it is very warm. I found it alot more pleasureable to leaflet by looking around at my surroundings and talking to cats/looking at flowers in the gardens, getting ideas for my own house etc etc. After a week or two you will notice a difference to your fitness levels and I even noticed my legs toning up - hurrah! No more cellulite :j :j
Is it possible to get a paper round instead? The going rate around here is 5p per paper - which means for every 1000 papers you would earn £50
(although you most probably wouldn't deliver that many in a week
Good luck with your leafleting - I am with you every step of the way! When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
thanks for the support guys......
well typical... hubby's bike didnt start this morning.. so he's taken the car:eek: and my deliverying bag is
in there:eek: so cant deliver anything until after 2.30pm
i pohned the company up yesturday and said that they told me they were only going to send me 1000 to start me off but they have given me 1785:eek: so i have until tuesday to deliver them... as they are not time critical....
but this has got me thinking about contacting the local development trust..... to leave my name etc.. so if any local business wants leaflets delivered.. but without paying big companies to do it.. which in the end will be passed on to peeps like me to do.....
also there is a local community mag that is printed every month.. worth me contacting them as well.....
so this morning i will carry on putting the leaflets together...
thanks crown for the link:T i will take a nose at it after this..
bambywamby..... i had a beautifull soak last night loads of bubbles.....my shoulder is the worst at mo....
turnaroundsue......my friend done the evening post once.. but due to the area we live in.. she had to use the car.. and the houses were to spread out.. i think she spend more on petrol over the 6 days.. than what she got paid...
no free weekly papers here....they stop about 5 miles away....
the only paper has such is the local authority community paper which by all accounts is every 3 months.... which i have never seen in my area before....maybe because no one was dull enough to deliver them...lol.....
looking over cast so hope it doesnt rain later.... or over the weekend... otherwise peepes will have soggy papers..
pk2007..... thanks for the support....when i was delivering yesturday.. i was thinking of you walking as wellWork to live= not live to work0 -
I heard delivering the Yellow pages is quite good money, but then you are talking heavy
Hope you have good day today

Hi CTC, I really admire your determination to do this, you're doing brilliantly.
Walking is great for losing weight, you'll be back in your leathers in no time!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
