We did this as a family (3 of us) and found it very hard going to be honest. I worked out that after deducting our time and fuel we were making hardly anything out of it and gave it up as I could earn more in another part time job I had. I guess all companies are different and lets hope you find it easier.

Well done in actually getting of your backside though and making an effort at paying your debt. I have started working at Tesco at the weekends on top of my normal fulltime job.

I am knackered as I have worked every day for a month but im getting used to it and just keep thinking of the exctra cash and the Debt Free date coming forward.

    Good luck ;)

    Hi CTchick
I can be your virtual delivery buddy; i need to get fit too. i did what you are doing 6 months ago but it was only 100 houses. I did it with a friend and had a pedometer to make me feel good about it.

I delivered leaflets for my local estate agent when I was in high school, so I completely sympathise with you! I found a huge help was to listen to a walkman while I worked, and to bundle the leaflets into nice chunks so I knew how far along I had got.
Good luck, and I hope it all works well for you!

i think idef.. going to need your virtual support.....as i have just come back after delivering 71 lots... as thats all that would fit in the bag.. and it took me over 1 hour

i must admit in the begining as the bag was full it was hard getting the leaflets out.... as i done more houses it did get easier.....so even though you are not suposed to insert leaflet within leaflet....i might just do that ..so it might be easier to get them out of my bag.. and then just beofre posting them through letter box... just take them out of the middle....this is just the lealfets not the paper....
    and see how that goes...

good idea about the pedometer thing..... that also might be an incentive.... as at the mo.. the amount that i have done isnt......lol......

i think its going to hit my feet and my shoulder.....good job its a nice day.....

just stocking up the bag again with newspapers.. a quick cuppa and back out.... try do do some without the car....

so hopefully i will get quicker.......def... not worth the money that they pay....

60 lots took me 45 mins.. ok hubby was on his way home from work so he picked me up at the end of one of the roads... so saved me 10 walk back home.....

    me feet are stinging...lol.....

i need to find out a better way of doing the leaflets as there are 3 of them plus the paper...

as i have said i am struggling when the bag is full with papers.... the leaflets are in the diff compartments on the front of the bag.......

so now i am folding larger leaflet in half and putting the other 2 inside..... so then when i take them out of the bag... just wip out the leaflets i the middle... so they are being posted seperately.......

where is best place to get one of those pedometers on line ?
