Just bear in mind that webuyanycar give a quite low valuation, they offered us £13000 and we sold to a local car dealership for £15500

Might give an idea though of what the dealer will have paid

Three little ducks go into a Bar.....

"Say, what's your name?" the bartender asked the first duck.

    "Huey," was the reply.

    "How's your day been, Huey?"

"Great. Lovely day. Had a ball. Been in and out of puddles all day. What else could a duck want?" said Huey.

"Oh. That's nice," said the bartender. He turned to the second duck, "Hi, and what's your name?"

"Dewey," came the answer from duck number two.

"So how's your day been, Dewey! ?" he asked.

"Great. Lovely day. I've had a ball too. Been in and out of puddles all day myself. What else could a duck want?"

The bartender turned to the third duck and said, "So, you must be Louie?"

"No," she said, batting her eyelashes.

    "My name is Puddles

The missus had been hinting for 50 Shades of Grey for ages......

Being the nice lad I am, I went and bought it for her....

The look on her face when I presented her with a Dulux catalogue was priceless!

Hi Frequent, been a bit quiet this week as my car was stolen!! Police found it about a mile away from where i'd left it last Saturday!! It's now in the hands of the repairers and I'm waiting for the keys to be returned from the insurers so I can pick it up. No damage done and nothing nicked from inside!! It had all my car boot stuff in it as well! I've got a feeling it ran out of petrol and whoever nicked it panicked and just left it! Of course they left it on double yellows so it got 3 parking tickets on it before the police towed it away. Bet you're glad you asked now:rotfl::rotfl:

I've had 2 cars stolen and it was horrible :-(
When the Angels came to take this lady she was passed from the Angel who was sat with her. I am sure that you are feeling very mixed emotions at the moment but I hope that you realise what a very special person you are. I wish there were more people in the world like you but I do think we have a higher percentage of them on here than in the real world.

I hope you are ok and have someone with you this evening.

I couldn't have said it better. Hugs to you xx
MMW, big hugs from me hun :)

    And from me x

And hugs to Brand8 too x

I'd be interested in knowing this too....and whether saturday evenings or Sunday afternoons are better.
I've not been to T's for 2 weeks now and I must use my JTD before it expires!
Dunno why....but I think I've lost my mojo at the moment. I'll have to see if I can find it :)

I think Sat/Sun happen a bit earlier, but sometimes they aren't as good as mid week, if you have the choice. Today everything at my T's had it's second reduction by 5pm and then there *might* be another round, but probably not... also, things tend to be more cleared out as the 'typical' shopper has done the week's shop- so less to whoopsie. ...unless there are really seasonal things and the weather is being silly - so over Wimbledon if they order buckets of strawberries and it rains... :D

Misalignedhalo bless you. :A I hope you can find peace and that you can rest now. well after work, when you can :A:o:A

Brand8 I sincerely hope you aren't alone. What a huge shock and not being able to prepare in any way is just rotten. I hope you are coping. all good wishes :A

    Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household world that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It it the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,
    Just around the corner.
    All is well
