Mr 3Dogs has been in a deep sleep since this afternoon. I got something ready for tea at 8pm ready for his 3rd meds and he woke then but was very doped up and couldn't manage much of his food and every time he had a drink, I sat on the edge of my chair as I thought he was going to spill it  I had to shout to him several times when he was in the toilet as it sounded like he was falling asleep sat on the loo  but managed to get him to bed, very slowly
He was in a little pain so gave him some oramorph .... only his 3rd dose of the day, which was very good, and was soon snoring away
Just had fun giving him his meds and getting him tucked up in bed   He was half sitting up in bed with lots of pillows and woke as I went in the room. I talked to him for a few minutes to make sure he had woke properly and then asked him to take his last meds of the day. I handed him the bottle of diluted squash and he took it and then 'woke up again' and dropped it like a hot can  it bounced on the bed and then onto my foot, spilling squash on the bedspread, my foot and the floor. I went to get kitchen roll to mop up and tried to get Alan to sit up and move down the bed so I could see if it had gone through the bedspread and if he was wet. It was like dealing with him in the our younger days when he was mortally drunk - slow to respond and vacant look when you ask him to do something :rotfl:But we got there in the end, changing his pj's, the pillowcase and the bedspread. He went to the toilet while I was sorting the bed and but started retching again. I eventually got him settled in bed and gave him his anti-nausea tablet under his upper lip and he settled down to sleep. I can hear him snoring now so I am off to bed too, after that comedy sketch :rotfl: :rotfl:
Goodnight guys - sleep well
I don't post on here much never find any of the bargains, but I do come on often and read.
I just wanted to echo what everyone else thinks on here. That you and hubby are really an inspiration. It is amazing to see just through what you write how much you love each other!
I think he is a really lucky man to have you0 -
Good morning all, DD just getting ready to spend a few hours at one of her friends home then they are returning here for a sleepover - got the afternoon to myself undecided on putting feet up and reading a book or shopping will see how I feel once she has gone

Morning all
Thought I would let you know what happened with my toy order from direct.
I had an email cancelling but later got a call from the store saying that it had arrived
and could I collect.
At the desk I said I was surprised as I had had a
message saying it was cancelled.
The SA then said she would need to call Direct and they told her
I couldnt it because it should have been cancelled.
Despite a long discussion she would not give me the parcel:(
So if this happens to you be careful what you say to the SA
just pretend everything is normal and hopefully you will get your order.
I wish I had kept quiet at the desk.0 -

3Dogs, am glad that alan's meds are being sorted, hopefully they will get on top of the pain soon. clipstrips idea of talking books is an excellent idea.

Thats disgusting service, I would be tempted to ring HO about how they have messed you about, cancelling order, then telling you to go and collect it, then saying you can't have it. Unbelievable, but then again it is T's and nothing they do surprises me.If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
Morning all
Hugs to those who need them
I am laughing my head off at frequent's gift to his neighbour!
Just back from asda, they still had a few cheapy bits and pieces, and proper angel delight is 30p where the asda own ones were 44p. These are the ones that were 11p a few weeks ago. They also had Forgetting Sarah Marshall on bluray for £1.38 which might be store specific
And then my car drove me to t homeplus. In there I found the 48p rolson stuff but they only had spring clamps and safety goggles. And then I found the simoniz bug and tar wipes for 18p!! I unashamedly grabbed the lot because misery guts' bike gets covered in bugs, and I never find anything in that t's! Thought I was gonna get trouted as the sa was swiping some dvd's for me and she saw the price of the wipes and asked me what they were for and why I needed so many but she was fine. Still no 4p socks though :-(I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Me too, at the very least I would require my petrol money/bus fare to collect the non existent order.0 -

I have never been asked this question, and god help the first SA to ask me, I will tell them in no uncertain terms that what and why I buy is none of their business :mad:, then I will ask why have they got that hairstyle, why are they wearing those glasses0 -
