Oh I sooooooooooo know what you mean mharzuk!!!!
Elsie -:mad: Oh that's terrible service!!!!!!!!!!!Pleased to hear you got there in the end but, being treated in such a manner is far from acceptable. I would imagine the Mullers are still classed as yoghurts but as I said, still no excuse for rudeness.
emmlouie - CONGRATULATIONS on completing your exams :T:T
Quite agree about the service..... I do love these price check vouchers, but also hate the way you are supposed to know what you can and can't use them for! I got the better of all 3 staff in the end though... but why should it have to be like that. Oh well, I suppose it has it's perks £13 of shopping for a little over £5, and with any luck another price check voucher for £4.50+:D:D

Are you watching that ? I feel like its one of those documentaries about the past and by the end there has been a catastrophic epidemic. Do you know what I mean ??0 -
I can confirm the Indian/Tapas work together!:j
got 4 xTapas and 1 x Indian @ 88p so after discounts paid 18p each!:D
tried one tapas for lunch, very tasty but no way worth £2.50 each! even discounted to 5 for £9.00 (or £1.80 each) they are a royal rip off, Yes Ma'am!;)
had the indian prawns with garlic and chilli tonight, again nice but tiny and not worth full price, no wonder these are always on whoopsie!!
I bought them for the first time last week Locarr
They were nice as a whoopsie but can not believe people would pay £2.50 each for them.0 -
You have to wait untill the day after the transaction. Well done
Thanks wirehair, I'm so excited at such a big one for my first find. I hope it's not disappointing.
Was so funny I had already put my £1 in for a shallow trolley and as I wheeled it out I saw the long receipt stuck in between 2 large trollies, so back the shallow one went and I stuck my £1 in the first big one and that was enough to reach it. :j
But I am so out of practice wheeling those bigger trollies around I wish I had changed it back again. :rotfl:
And I would recommend all of you having another look in your local As as I found bargains that had not been there before, couple of them have been mentioned before but thought it might be helpful to say what I got.

Good evening just back from a 2 hour 4 stop Mr T shop, trying to use all my mam vouchers, sadly got trouted in 1 store I had 4 packs of the bacon bits and a joint, 5 packs of the tapas which had been reduced to 13p each and a coolbag, and a few extra's to boost the bill above zero i handed over the 3 £1 off meat and then my 5 mam vouchers, I was told the mam vouchers were only 1 per transaction, I explained never a problem b4 a supervisor was called, the queue behind me was growing and they weren't a happy crowd, anyway was told again 1 per transaction, so I said,if thats the case I will return the joint and 2 of the packs and put through in seperate transactions, so they were deducted off the bill however the vouchers weren't as it had been totaled the cool bag was free and I used £4 of vouchers the first shop came in at £2.53 and I used a jtd which was one of those strange ones that appeared this week with the new logo on for £1.12, she went todo the next transaction and with the joint and and the 2 pack of bacon bits and I said I wanted 2 transactions if I could only use 1 mam per trnsaction with the £1 off meat, there were a few choice words from the queue and she said just give me the vouchers so I did and that shop cost me 59p after a JTD, so I think that was a good trout as I managed to max my vouchers and JTD's. It's a shame the price flops end this weekend, can't wait for the next ones, lets hope theres lots of free things in that one too.0

SprialingDown - Poor you!!!! I'm once again frustrated on your behalf. It's extremely selfish of your Mum to guilt trip you into helping her when you're already doing the work of 10 people! Sending you great big cuddlesI'm so pleased the contractor has finally come through and you'll be moving in so soon! :j:j:j
Thank you fudge_cake, you always brighten up everyones day, I hope everything's going well for you, sending you big hugs
My mum doesn't care so long as it doesn't effect her, you get used to it but when she started trying it on DS a few years ago both DH and I cracked up and told her if she tried it again she wouldn't see him anymore so she hasn't been so obvious about it and DS has been told that if he really doesn't want to do something just to say so, which he has done once or twice in no uncertain terms :rotfl:
So now she accepts when he says no the first time because he called her 'a blackmailing bully who doesn't care who she hurts so long as she gets her way':rotfl: I taught him well to stand up for himself, just now wish he would do it in school.
Most of the work has been completed, the receptionist 'forgot' to give them the worksheet but they knew about the unit to be removed and metal edging put on, cupboard doors to be replaced and the internal door handles to be replaced also but they didn't have the details on the thickness of the worktop or that there was PVC trim to be put onto the front window so that has been aranged with them to be done on Monday as that's the earliest I'll be able to be there.
I've got a course on ADHD tomorrow so it's going to be a long day. After that I've to pick DS up from school, take greyhound collars to the guy looking after my dogs for his lurchers then I'll start to transfer water from my tropical fish tank to my new house. I spent this evening cleaning out a pre-owned tank I bought a few weeks ago and setting it up, it just needs the water in it for a few days and then I can move the fish from my mum's house into it.
I'm hoping to spend a nice day with DS on Saturday watching DVDs, eating nice snacks and maybe going shopping for holiday clothes if I really could be bothered going shopping
sorry just realised I've been rambling on, I'm off to catch up xxxSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
