Nikki - Jogging :T Bravo! Sorry to hear DS felt so disheartened after his exam. From my experience, the exams I've found most difficult have actually been the ones I've done best in because it's taken me so much more effort and time to process the question to produce an answer. He's worked incredibly hard and clearly a very bright and intelligent boy so I really hope he passes with flying colours :A

A huge big spider just went scuttling across my floor :eek::eek:
I don't like them at all *shudders* Was very close to screaming then I realised DD was watching me, don't want to pass on my fear to her, so quickly ran to put my shoes on so I could stand on it, but the little booger went under the telly stand.
DD asked 'what that mummy'
Me in a singsong voice 'just a little spider, it's away under the telly hiding one me'
DD then proceeds to try and get under said telly stand while shouting 'where are you spider' looking allwhile I'm sat like :eek:
Think I need a lie down now! :rotfl:
:eek::eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I am EXACTLY the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm petrified of big black spiders as they move so fast. Hairy ones, daddy long legs etc, they're fine but big uns OMG!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:
When I was about 17 I was staying in a hospital of sorts (like The Priory) and as it was summer I had my window open. I had ivy growing up the wall directly outside my room and one day I was sat on my bed reading, went to move my teddy and underneath was the biggest black spider I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor teddy had to kill it for me. I ran downstairs and everyone thought I was stupid for being upset! :mad::( But I didn't sleep that night and moved every piece of furniture to check for any more!:o
That started a terrible fear of them. Last night I went to bed eventually at about 2:30am and whilst brushing my teeth spotted a huge black spider on the skirting board!! I proceeded to wake the entire house up by waking up my sister (:p:p:rotfl:) to watch the spider whilst I went and got the Dyson! :rotfl: Of course then it had to be left on for 5 mins to make sure the heat killed the damn thingPerranlady wrote: »Thanks for the mention Fudge Cake!!!
