    Never mind - thank you!
I've only been able to dip in and out of MSE recently - I've had an awful couple of months - dumped by my OH and my fathers cancer has come back - the 2 most important men in my life!! :(

Sorry to hear that life is not being very good to you at the moment - i would just like to send you some big ((((hugs)))), and as for your OH dumping you he has most probably done you a favour as he couldn't have been a very nice person in the first place to do something that he knew would upset you so much, Onwards and upwards as they say, it might be hard now but it will make you stronger and who wants to have sausages when there is plenty of steak out there yet to be sampled :rotfl::rotfl: xxxx

I went last Sunday week when I did it, they said if you are worried your GP's nurse will be happy to see you. Went to see doc about something else Friday said leave the steristrips on till at least Monday.

Its stingy tonight will try & get past the gestapo receptionists in the morning, its normally a 2 week wait to see the nurse, if no luck I will go to A & E

Bit of a freebie today walking past superdrug they were offering free eyebrow threading as they were starting a new service, always wanted to have it done. It was okay but I was surprised it was actually hurting a bit afterwards

hope your finger is improving now or you have had a chance to get back to the drs

    nipped Ts this morning
found a label for blue maggots rtc 6p but sadly none on the shelf - on the clearance aisle for those who use same store.
needed a new cheap blender as DD broke my other one had some prices at £9something in square blue boxes and some value ones in white boxes with no sel, took one of those, then spotted some blue oblong boxes in clearance aisle for £6 asked sa to check mine and it scanned at £4.48 so worth looking for if you need a cheap one for soup or baby food etc

hugs to all who want/need one

right, logging off now. Yippee, work's finished so off to get OH and DS. Got leftover lamb stew thing for dinner tonight - had a roast on sunday and made a slow pot/casserole with the remainder of the meat, lots of rosemary, red wine, bay leaf etc and whoopsied veggies. God, it was delish. Had it with mash last night and having leftover leftovers tonight, think I'll do it with cous cous and green beans. That free lamb joint from T has fed us for 3 days (and i had it on a sandwich for lunch). Yippee to free food. :j:j

Well just had the most amazing phone call from OH, he had received a letter in the post containing a cheque for an extreme amount of money which is to cover my FIL's funeral costs, and it only leaves us with a bill of £42 to pay. I had written to the BT and explained situation to them about FIL's death - he worked for BT for approx 30 years - and they decided to pay for most of the funeral costs. You wouldn't believe what a burden that has taken off our shoulders. I am absolutely over the moon and am just about to write a thank you letter off to them now. All we had to pay for was the announcement in the newspaper and they covered everything else.:T:T:T

So if anyone from the BT benevolent fund is reading this i would just like to say, you guys are amazing and i can't thank you enough. :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

And to Fudge 2 also a big Thank You to you too, i think i had better go and buy a lottery ticket as it looks like this could be my lucky day:):)
