    hi
i dont know how to post my own thread so ill put my question here, please reply.

i have three children, OH and me, how many clothes are enough?
we seem to have so many clothes and most are not being used, im going to give most away, but for a cleaner/tidier house how many clothes do we really need?
(the clothes are the main cause of mess in our house too)

and if anyone could tel me how to post my own thread that would be great too.
    many thanks

Welcome bhatti3000 that is a difficult one. I'm afraid I'm not the best person to give any advice on that one. Our wardrobes are bursting at the seams and I have quite a lot I have moved to a spare wardrobe around my mums.

In my defence I don't think we would have so much if Ts had not been selling it so cheaply in the past. ;)

I'm just off to bed but just wanted to say a big thank you for your support today. I'm good friends with MKS and she said that I should post what's happening to me but it took a bit of courage! You are all an inspiration. x

    Thanks for the compliment flowerclipper.

flowerclipper offered and gave me an absolutely huge amount of support when I had a problem that began four years ago (doesn't time fly!). I really hope that things work out for her. If anyone has been through a similar situation and can offer any help, please do.

So just some rope to compress the springs with, and its a DIY job then...erm not thats very dangerous, those springs are highley compressed.

However, have done that with a few mates before, must admit was sh1 ting self at the time :rotfl::rotfl:

Took my old Mondeo to ford and asked them to estimate full service @ £375 plus VAT, took to local mechanic £125 plus vat.

What is everyone doing on such a bright sunny day ?

    Stupid question huh :D

Mick says to Paddy: "Close your curtains the next time you're having sex with your wife. The whole street was watching and laughing at you yesterday.

"Paddy says: "Well the joke's on them because I wasn't even at home yesterday"!

I really hate chucking any clothes away. Even old t-shirts. I think, well I can wear a sweatshirt over the top of them. When I do buy something new it has got to be in a sale reduced to a silly price. I love whoopsied clothing :T There is a recycling bin for rags just down the road from me. I should take a few things down there I suppose. Might be able to womble a couple of things :D

Well I was hoping to go to Ts but I am going to be car less :(. OH has to travel much further in his new job so can't use his bicycle instead and DD1 needs hers for her placement today. Would be a lovely walk today but no way could I carry around £40 worth of shopping back. I want to use my coupons!
