Oh thanks for that I just was concerned as the end of my barcode is 150 and that is usually what it will then scan at, so glad you have confirmed they work.:j

I'm sure that something was said about them scanning at £1.50. I think I read that myrtleturtle was going to look into it. I have some and so far they have scanned at £3. HTH :)

    Edit. My barcode ends 031502
    N1LDA :)

Evening all. Went to my local to use my B&J price check and had a half an hours wait while they decided if I could or could not use it (they said yes in the end how kind of them!) They were all under the impression that it is only £10 now no matter how much I explained this was done before the changes. Also had to listen to the trouty sa b!tching about people using vouchers, people bringing in small price checks (in her words why would you bother its a waste of time) and the fact people moan about being overcharged, (again her words- how many people get undercharged and come back in about it) I was ready to say sod it and leave but I wouldn't have had anything for tea! Anyway sorry for the rant hope everyone is ok and had a good day.

I haven't used mine yet and as its for £17.92 I've been wondering if it will be accepted at the till or whether it will have to be done at CS.
Are may people experiencing problems redeeming the ones where we bought the 4 B&J deals?
I'm going to go to T's tomorrow evening while the footie is on so will use mine then.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

    Damn slugs and snails :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I've picked the slugs off and have now lifted them all onto the garden table rather than the decking.

Any greenfingered people got any advice please?

I'd cook the slugs before putting them on the table HTH :D
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

I've put slug pellets in all of the troughs and tubs I've planted up, but just been outside to check on them and there are masses of slugs making a bee line for my African Busy Lizzies

My OH has said he's heard that you can sprinkle porridge oats and the slugs will eat that then die. I've never heard of this, has anyone else?. I was thinking of sprinkling salt around the plants but don't know whether this might kill 'em off too!!
Any greenfingered people got any advice please?

I used to put lines round my pots of slug killer then was told slugs are attracted to it so it's actually better to put it away from what you are trying to protect!

    It now works a treat.

I used one on Saturday no problems but today I had to be taken to CS. Good luck using it. I have spoke to T's and they said we can still use them as long as voucher is valid!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
  • I used a JTD voucher, only a small one. Not £10+ and I froze the till:eek::eek::eek: (manned till btw) I panicked for a second thinking they had stopped accepting the old ones.

I think I was more unlucky and probably had nothing to do with the voucher! But if anyone has the same experience then they're on to us!:eek: *RUN ELITE* or fight fire with fire..... *FLASH MOB*:o:o

I'll just take the great big "sorry that the end of your finger looks dead" one. :(

The steristrips came off by accident on Sunday but it had been a week couldn't get any anywhere so settled for boots ones which are rubbish & its taken me over half an hour gently coaxing them off & finger doesn't look too clever :.... (

soaking the bandage in a bowl of water for a couple of minutes usually help the bandage to come off easily.

just remember to dry the would afterwards and disinfect properly before bandaging them again.
