Morning everyone hope the world is being kind to you all:)

I would love to say well done to LauraCello as well, you must be so proud of yourself, i would love to be able to achieve something as powerful as you have just done - i get myself into a sweat just thinking about doing exercise let alone doing it - but i have now decided that this is going to be my year and after all the inspiration i have gained from all you guys on this thread i know i will achieve what i set out to do.

First on my list is to give up smoking, i have started cutting down and have gone from 20 a day down to 10, so this time next week it will be 5 a day - no ifs or buts about it. And then to challenge my weight and lack of fitness, which i should think i will find easier once i have given up smoking as my breathing is terrible when i exert myself in any way shape or form physically so i have avoided exercise like the plague, i do however know that once i get into the swing of it there will be no stopping me, i think i have what is known as an addictive personality and once i start something i do put everything into it.

Hope you all have a great day and big hugs and much love to Fudgecake, 3Dogs, WestisBest and FloFlo and to any one else that needs it xxx

Bensonsmum go for it:T:T:TI am now nearly 8 months smokefree and I was the same as you, I couldnt walk and talk at the same time as I got so out of breath:(Now I'm actually jogging:eek::eek::eek:Ok not far, but I'll get there as like you I have an addictive personality. Start with walking, thats what I did and just build it up slowly. The thing about getting exercise is it makes you think "I'm putting in all this effort so I'm going to stick to a diet too"Well it seems to be for me;)
You can do it, if someone had told me 8 months ago that I would have given up smoking(I was a heavy smoker:o) and that I was jogging and had applied for the marathon I would have literally wet myself with laughter!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
