There aren't many MSE's close to me :( Cosmic Dust is the only one I really know of here, although we've never actually met.
Think I'll have to take a trip further east and see if I can spot [STRIKE]Zak Dingle[/STRIKE], Happy Chappy, Westie and Motherbear :rotfl:
I think Sanya would be on my way so she could come too :D

    Yay :j
Been staying at my daughter last night looking after my Grandson whilst she has been in hospital with her fiance having her baby!

He was born at 2.10 this morning weighing in at 6lbs 15oz. I am sure he will like scanning products at Tesco's just like his brither does!

Congratulations DD1 on the birth of your son!!

Congratulations on the new addition :T
i'm glad of the advice to be honest, i have started doing more shops with less vouchers too, i used to do it in larger amounts but i hated the confrontation, beung refused coupons coz the sa thought u were taking the p and also if being refused them putting everything back out ur bags and other shoppers waiting to pay staring at u like u were a lepor! totaly hate confrontation
i think fk was just trying to help us by sharing honestly what he did with the mse'r turned out to be a disaster. i agree with him and have learned that being to brave often doesn't pay off. i have also done things like this in the past and it is upsetting when sa gets funny with u. then the next time you go to shop u feel like everyone is on guard as soon as you walk in.
fk didn't need to share this with us, but he has which has cost him some respect on mse, but i for one appreciate his honesty as it will help me avoid confrontation. all the information provided on this site is purely to help each other xxxx
chins up everyone and big group hug, onwards and upwards .....:D

    Nicely said

Have two different Tesco stores near to me and still not finding any mags for the MAM coupons. Ah well, think I will just have to miss out on that one.

Used the cake flop voucher yesterday, got two packs of cake bars (£1.40 each - 2 for £2.00) and a little swiss roll thingy (25p) to bring my total up to the right amount.

Girl on the till studied the voucher forever before putting it through. Would be mortified if I got 'trouted', but thought I would be ok using one coupon, and it's the price flop coupon, shelves full of the booklets at the doors, find it hard to believe it was the first one she had seen!

Think I need to get a bit braver with using coupons, and not get red faced and shamed so easily.. :o

The only danger is that this thread could highlight to T where the too shrewd shoppers are and were not to put too many magazines.

I'm still waiting for my local to get the mags in. Come on shrewd lurkers, show yourselves cos it sure isn't me. :rotfl::rotfl:

Eventful trip to T's as I was going up the travelator with a bloke charging towards me with 2 security guards and 4 members of staff behind them, mr shoplifter jumped over onto the downwards travelator, I saw him being bundled into a police car about 30 minutes later so they go him in the end :D

They had whoopsied the cheese packs down to £1.20 I got 11 and used the £2 flop coupon = 80p profit on each one :)
    I got 6 packs of the M-a-M
I got 2 of the face wipes they were £2.97 bogof so the 2 x £2.50 coupons gave me a profit :)

Much admiration for the savvy MSE making the most of the vouchers.

Baby steps for me. But I will get there. ;)

The things rtc in my store seem to turn out to be store specific but just in case of use to anyone Rombouts coffee 250g "Brazil Sue De Miinas" b/c 0973 and Papua New Guniea" b/c 0959 rtc @ £1.31 from £5.27. They are in a tin and under the tins lid there is a ring pull like a can of Coke.
