Indeed and I intend doing so based on my experience yesterday, hence why I made my remarks!!!

Then feel free to ignore it.

i'm glad of the advice to be honest, i have started doing more shops with less vouchers too, i used to do it in larger amounts but i hated the confrontation, beung refused coupons coz the sa thought u were taking the p and also if being refused them putting everything back out ur bags and other shoppers waiting to pay staring at u like u were a lepor! totaly hate confrontation
i think fk was just trying to help us by sharing honestly what he did with the mse'r turned out to be a disaster. i agree with him and have learned that being to brave often doesn't pay off. i have also done things like this in the past and it is upsetting when sa gets funny with u. then the next time you go to shop u feel like everyone is on guard as soon as you walk in.
fk didn't need to share this with us, but he has which has cost him some respect on mse, but i for one appreciate his honesty as it will help me avoid confrontation. all the information provided on this site is purely to help each other xxxx
chins up everyone and big group hug, onwards and upwards .....:D

If people need to boost their spend how about a £3.99 copy of Top Gear magazine but with coupon you get it for £1.00.

First of all i am not a troll and we both know that because you have pm me in the past [the Andrex vouchers]And just because i dont agree with you,you feel the need to be rude.

Candy, if I'm honest, your posts came across as a little rude and quite confrontational. Please bear in mind that new people join this forum every day. Some people have posted that they have used a lot of vouchers in their shop and FK's post will hopefully make people stop and think before they jump right in.

Some SAs will happily put anything through that the till accepts but others may refuse to take them. Getting to know your local store and the SAs will help you decide if little and often or one big batch in one go is the best way to go when using vouchers.

I hope this does not come across as a personal attack, I just wanted to highlight that others may value the advice given even if you don't.

Please stop having a go at F.K. it was me "buying" the 8 MAM because thats something I can eat which doesn't contain gluten etc, he was helping me with the maths, we had all been swapping coupons etc but we certainly didn't clear out the shop plenty left for other shoppers, unlike this afternoon in the Marina.

Had an emergency with poorly finger & needed steristrips in a hurry, dashed off to nearest t's couldn't find them almost had a panic attack at the pharmacy waiting to ask where they were. She produced one packet from under the counter & sold me the last strip in the box:eek:

Wandered past the MAM thinking I wouldn't mind trying the ham pieces which neosi said is more like gammon. Shop completely stripped of all MAM except £4 ham joints

Had to go to big Boots as one strip of steristrips won't be enough, they only sell their own brand ones, I have to say they are awful, maybe ok for a straight cut but not if you need to loop them over the end of a finger.

Trip to Boots tomorrow to take other packet back & to Superdrug to try & get some real steristrips
