Can someone look at my working out

    6 packs of make a meal @ £2.50 (on the 2 for £3 offer) = £9

    Then shouldn't we be able to use 6 x £1 m-a-m vouchers
    and 5 x £1 price flops.

    £9-£6-£5 = £2 off your shopping.

or have I gone completely wrong somewhere?

Is there anything that the price flops or m-a-m vouchers don't scan automatically on on a manned till - would like to draw as little attention to myself as possible (due to dtd reasons, lol).

8 packs of the £2 (on 2 for £3) should allow 8 £1 mam coupons and 5 £1 flops would take £1 off shopping wouldn't it?

    My head is spinning lol.

    6 x £2.50 = £15 (before multibuys) £9 total price
    minus 5 flops = £5
    minus 6 M-a-M = £6

Therefore a profit of £2 and 6 packs of M-a-M

The most idea way to do it (my store didn't have enough) is to get 12 of the £2.50 m-a-m

    12 x £2.50 = £30 (after multibuys its £18)

    Then use
    12 x £1 off M-a-M = £12
    10 x flop = £10

So £22 of coupons for an £18 spend

    I *think* this is correct

Can we all just be a litttle thoughtful when doing this please. Handing over so many identical coupons leaves us wide open to a good trouting. I got one yesterday. 9 items and 15 coupons....SA wasn't having a bar of it and would only scan 9.

I have SA's that I know will beep anything that scans but I don't want to risk them getting into trouble for taking tons of them in one go as thats not nice and could also result in them getting retrained in coupon acceptance.

A few at a times would be a more prudent approach I think. Just sayin :)

Probably right, think I shall go for the combination below.....a couple of times (go out of store and different sa second time), with other shopping.

    6 x £2.50 = £15 (before multibuys)£9 total price
    minus 5 flops = £5
    minus 6 M-a-M = £6

Therefore a profit of £2 and 6 packs of M-a-M

I agree in part to the above, and would advocate little but often with coupons but I am doing a big shop today do hopefully can use 6 ot so mams without causing tooling of a stir.

Been staying at my daughter last night looking after my Grandson whilst she has been in hospital with her fiance having her baby!

He was born at 2.10 this morning weighing in at 6lbs 15oz. I am sure he will like scanning products at Tesco's just like his brither does!

Congratulations DD1 on the birth of your son!!

congrats on your new grandson xxx
