Can someone look at my working out
6 packs of make a meal @ £2.50 (on the 2 for £3 offer) = £9
Then shouldn't we be able to use 6 x £1 m-a-m vouchers
and 5 x £1 price flops.
£9-£6-£5 = £2 off your shopping.
or have I gone completely wrong somewhere?
Is there anything that the price flops or m-a-m vouchers don't scan automatically on on a manned till - would like to draw as little attention to myself as possible (due to dtd reasons, lol).
8 packs of the £2 (on 2 for £3) should allow 8 £1 mam coupons and 5 £1 flops would take £1 off shopping wouldn't it?
My head is spinning lol.0 -
Is there anything in thr Make-a-Meal that might tickle Ancient Cat's fancy? Maybe the pulled beef for a change? I'm sure you know where some is going free at the moment.
Sounds nice for me & AC
but my store doesn't stock it. We only have the sausage
Oh & some dried up crispy bacon rasher thingies
We also don't have the Real Food magazines, but thanks to an Elitist I now have one to show to our store manager & hopefully he will order them in

Good luck and let us know how you get on. As Miss Laid has mentioned try and select a younger sa, they are often more carefree with scanning the coupons.
Lol, go for a weak looking lad or girl who likes she hates her job, weekends and evenings are best when trouts are up river:D0 -

Its mostly small pieces just a couple of chunks that need to be cut up, I think all the bacon type ones would be too salty, it depends how tempted Ancient Cat needs to be, it doesn't have a very strong smell. While you're there grab a couple of those Tesco Supermeat tins not in jelly or gravy.
When desperate we get sardines in tomato sauce or salmon because of the strong smell.
However it was known for one of the very poorly ancient cats of ours to refuse everything except fish fingers in the bottom of my wardrobe luckily that was only a couple of times.
Also maybe little & often you know what old people are like give them a full plate of food & they look at it & say they are full before they've started0 -

I hope all are well today. Congrats to the newborn, hugs to those that require them and happy father's day to all the male carers out there.
I shall be getting 4 chickens today with a £17.92 JTD to make a new JTD voucher of exactly £10. All the vouchers up to £9.99 had barcodes that would scan so I'm interested to see if a £10 Capped one will. Saying that, I read the new T&Cs don't apply yet but we shall see.
Have a great day, everyone. Happy glitching.
My JTD came back for £11 yesturday so I assume that they are not applying the £10 max at least. I should have a £20 come back today so will report back. BTW the John Frieda is a great JTD ... £7 each in Tesco and 3 for £10 in Asda making it good value for a premium brand.0 -
