Laura Cello - Thank you so much for the info on W's whoopsies. I popped into one of my locals last Sunday and forgot to mention. They were very much 'in the know' in that store and though there were produce reductions by around 80% on some things, the strawbs were only reduced to £2.59. When I asked, he said that's as low as they'd go cuz they're on bogofTypical!

Stampy is the stamp put on letter or parcel if the stamp doesn't get franked you can use it again
Ok, I'll admit I've done this in the pastStopped when I read that Royal Mail has sophisticated equipment that can detect whether the stamp has been used before, even if it's not marked (something to do with the glue)...don't know if this is true?
But won't do it now as I wouldn't want the embarrassment of someone I know having to go down to the depot and pay extra cos I was too tight to buy a new stamp for their glitched card. I'd appreciate it if anyone could shed light on the stamp rumour though....

The "detection thing" was to prevent stamps being steamed off, there is a bit that is stamped out and becomes detatched if the stamp is steamed off, or is meant to anyway. Dont know if they have got round the idea of sticking selotape on it though! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
