I wouldn't class recent posts as promoting gambling. It's just his way of having fun and sharing it with us all. Part of his joie de vivre.
The posts about their gambling give the idea that gambling is fun and profitable.
I'm not an advertising executive, but I'm pretty sure this is a key way to promote your product or service.

OK, based on what you have posted, I have been missinformed and can therefore assume other parents are too. I was told that chickenpox is most contageouse before the spots are fomed and crusted over. My daughter had one spot for two weeks. I thought it was odd and took her to the Dr 'cos the spot was more like a water blister than just a bite or normal spot. The Dr told me they thought it could be but were unsure as one spot for two weeks was unusual. The next day she was covered. I phoned the school and asked if she should be kept off and they told me that she should not as it could last for three of four week which was too much time off school. What they did do was send out a message to all parents to advise that a case of chicken pox had been reported. Other than that they advised me to carry on as normal (I didn't, I refused playdates and meet ups until the spots had pretty much gone). I just wanted to add this note so you know that there is conflicting adivce out there and sometimes they advise parents to continue as normal, although they may come in to contact with risk groups. Just a point to note...Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

Muller fruit corner variety 6x150g
£3.59 (buy 2)
2 for £5 offer
Use 2x £1 off vouchers

That makes each pack of 6 only 50p!!!!!!

Personally I don't gamble - have never even bought a lottery ticket - but have no problem with reading of others interests. For me the diversity of this thread is what makes it special.
And I guess that's why you have no appreciation of the destructive impact on human lives that an addiction to gambling can have.
Trust me, the last thing you need is to read people boasting how brilliant it is.

You'll be whinging and whining when your store starts scrutinising every coupon you offer as "people have been abusing our system".
I mean, is 3 fresh pizzas for 50p or a frozen one and some ice cream for 52p after JTD not good enough for you?

We're all grown ups here, I thought.
We can make our own minds up whether we wish to gamble or not.
As someone else has said, the diversity of this thread is unique.
Long may it continue. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0
