  • Thanks for the replies, I'm hoping they're both immune, my sister is 24 and when she was a little my mum sent her to play with all the kids who had chickenpox hoping she'd catch them when she was young but she caught nothing, my mums never has either were as I caught chickenpox, measles, German measles & mumps within 12 months of starting school.
Oh has also never had any of the childhood illnesses but the anti rejection drugs might have changed that.

Sorry have just read this after I posted...doh! Well will keep my fingers x'd that she has a good natural immunity... I will pray for them both. x

Thanks to Ebe in the MoneySavers Arms

    WARNING !!!!

I was in B&Q at the weekend, looking round the garden section, when a man in an orange overall came up to me and asked me if I wanted decking.

Luckily I got the first punch in, but I just thought I'd warn other people to be on their guard.
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:

We've found out the little girl at our bbq on monday has got chicken pox, she has been around my sister who is 4 months pregnant & my oh who was told when he had his transplant that chicken pox was very dangerous to him. Her mum said "we thought she was coming down them as the children in the childminders all have them"
I just can't believe they still came when she was ill and said nothing, I've rung the transplant unit and got to go for test tomorrow, sister had also go to midwife tomorrow.
That's terrible news - you must be very worried. It's a bit naughty and irresponsible of the parent to take a child out if there is the slightest chance of chickenpox (I'm speaking from experience and i kept my DS housebound). Really hope your OH and your sister are ok.

    I found a corker:T

    Muller fruit corner variety 6x150g
    £3.59 (buy 2)
    2 for £5 offer
    Use 2x £1 off vouchers
    Makes the total £3

JTD would be £2 as Asda are only £1.50 each.!

That makes each pack of 6 only 50p!!!!!!

Hope it's not already been posted.

I know it's been said before, but I don't think this thread should be used to promote gambling.

If people want to gamble then that's up to them, but I think it's inappropriate to post on here and encourage others to do so as well.

Personally I don't gamble - have never even bought a lottery ticket - but have no problem with reading of others interests. For me the diversity of this thread is what makes it special.
