Any ideas how long i have to keep it off?
DAYS! If it was submerged then the water will have got in all sorts of nooks and crannies inside and will take a while for the rice to suck out.
IMO, change the rice after a couple of days for fresh dry rice then close the lid again. Don't switch it on and leave another 4 or 5 days.
I'd risk trying it after a week.
If it doesnt work after a week, all is not lost, keep it in the rice and try it from week to week. I had a blackberry that refused to work after being submerged for over a month! I also had a samsun that I gave up on and just chucked in the draw but it now works!!! That one must have taken 6 months to dry out but did in the end.0 -

I saw these online a couple weeks back when i was planning an APG shop. I've yet to find them in any of the 4 A's i frequent
Shame as the missus loves to bake and i love to eat. Its a good combination
It wasnt too bad. At tbe time Ts were selling lurpak for just £1.30 so i got some for the equivalent of less than £1.20 a pack. I still look for these though just on the off chanceApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
MMW, hope it goes okay and you stay friends. Sad that you don't want a relationship because it hurts so much when you lose them. x0

Hi all. Still catching up, so apologies if this has been mentioned already. Someone mentioned the Tyrrells spicy nuts (green ones) yesterday- they scanned full price for me yesterday, but a while later a SA brought out a crate with loads of them reduced to 12p- same bar code.0

TVAM is a long time ago i can't believe the human werewolf that is Richard Keys is still alive & bores me senseless with his pal Andy Gray if I'm unfortunate to have the radio on in the morning
I brought my oh his biography a few yrs ago. I emailed nick to ask for it to be signed.
Driving down motorway with oh on his birthday only to have nick phone and say happy birthday. I was amazed, oh thought it was a joke until i gave him the book. He emailed me a few times and couldnt have been nicer. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0
