Any ideas how long i have to keep it off?
When my phone (wasnt an iphone) went down the loo, I left it for about 2 weeks!! It was one that you could take the battery out of so I left it in pieces & it was about 2 weeks before the insides behind the wiring were dry. Can u take battery out of an iphone? If you can I would do this because the water creates circuits inside the phone & these can cause it to short. Try ringing a phone shop & see what they advise, they maybe able to strip it down and dry it quicker.
ETA Just reread that I it sounds like I left it down the loo for 2 weeks!!!! I didnt!!lol0 -

I can't believe i did something so stupid. I put my iphone in the washing machine. I managed to prise the door open after it had been on a few minutes (god knows how) my phone was submerged in water for only a minute or so. I've put it in a tupperware of rice (i know to do this as you were so helpfully helping someone else last week) my phone is switched on still though. All the info last week said not to switch it on. should i leave it as it is or switch it off. I've cried my eyes out already thinking that i've killed it. Its got all my photos and videos on it. My little boy walking for the 1st time etc. I'm so upset, what else should i do please..........
Have a read of this and the replies at the bottom, hope it helps and you get your photos back somehow, even if the Iphone isnt totally repairable:)

I know very little about I phones, but googling comes up with quite a lot of info too, have you 'synced' your Iphone with your PC recently? does that back up some info? HTH0 -
used the £1 off wys £3 on cooked meats on the Herta Frankfurters and discount came off fine (used self service).
Also picked up 2 packs of 6+3extra Mr Kipling Angel Slices (£1.40each) ...they had them hidden in a box behind the normal 6pks.
Bought with a 25p chocolate & vanilla swiss roll... used the £1 off wys £3 cakes with no problems. (self service again).
Hopefully will get 80p JTD as these are 2 for £2 in asda.0 -

Any "choice home" stores near you? They often have next furniture at less than half price.
