    I saw Alan Titchmarsh today at the NEC. I was going to get my photo taken with him but there was a crowd of three waiting.

    Me and a couple of Mates bumped into Richard Keys at the Hilton Wembley after an England match a few years back and asked if we could have a picture!:cool:

    Talking of Price Flops, don't know if this has been posted here yet? Was just googling Tesco and it was near the top of my search:

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/nils-pratley-on-finance/2012/jun/11/tesco-chief-real-test-philip-clarke-coupons?newsfeed=true

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Thank you. Particularly liked this bit

    "The real test for Clarke will arrive when he's spent his £1bn in hiring more staff and revamping stores. At that point, he'll have to attempt to wean shoppers off the coupons and trust they keep coming. It's too early to guess at how that gamble will turn out."

    Think they need real world advice from an 11+er - not too early to guess at all :):)

    In my local Extra they have large chickens,the sel is yellow and says price drop to £3 per kilo but loads of the chickens are marked as £ 4 per killo.
    Mine was priced as £7.62 so with dtd ( she knocked £4 off) it came in as £3.62 for a 1.904 kg chicken.
    Hope this is of use.:D

    Morning Elite. :DLovely sunshine here, and I'm going to be stuck indoors all day. Still, can hope for an early finish and go home to my gardening, filling hanging baskets, troughs and pots. Hope you all have a good day.

    Or a cheaper option using Price Check so no CS visit - buy the Roaster Chicken at £5 (up to 2.2kg) - it seems to compare at the Asda price per kilo ;) I think it's this one it compares to:

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=large whole chicken

    So at the moment you should get a £1.82 JTD back ;)
