Question: If you bag a JTD or APG when do you count it?
a) when you know its due ie when you are buying the first item that will lead to a voucher.
b) when you submit the claim
c) when you have the voucher in your hand
d) when you actually spend it instore/ online.
Reading on here it seems that a lot of you count it off the shop that generates it, whereas I wait until I've spent it.
Its been a hot topic of debate! I don't think it matters provided you only count it ONCE. Its all too easy imo to double count it. You justify the original shop based on it being cheap after the JTD then pat yourself on the back after speding the JTD at how good a deal you got by reducing your shop with it.0 -

Conversation I've just had with DH
DH: have we got a new iron?
Me: No , we've had it years, why do you ask?
DH: because it's very shiny on the bottom
Me: That's because I rarely use it

I'm not getting into an argument over the rights and wrongs, I'm merely saying what I was told.
They did however go on to say that the Inland revenue also said that by using these methods they discovered an enormous amount of benefit fraud too.....so maybe not such a waste of time or money.....
What I mean is everyone should get a citizen's dividend, working or no. :money:0 -
