Hi everyone. went to T's to do main shop, saw some of the new indian meal tub things (like the tapas) reduced but there was only 2, thought i'd wait until i see 3 reduced to try them and hope the discount still kicks in for double offer:D
I can confirm these give you the mulitbuy discount -£3.50 when you buy 5.
They will mix & match with the tapas, so if you find 2 tapas, 3 indian buy them.
If they're less than 70p each they are free/take money off your shopping0 -

Am on phone so too difficult to find original post to quote, but just been to boots, not really a glitch as all radox labelled up as half price and 3 for 2 but good deal nevertheless. Unfortunately, it wouldn't accept the ATM discount as well, although it worked the last time (and for other people it would seem)0

French_Knickers wrote: »Wales can be very funny weather wise due to the mountains. Its worth paying CLOSE attention to local weather reports. Case in point was a blistering day the whole country had when I was fishing Tywyn the other week. It was blazing sunshine till we got within 2 miles of the coast at which point it went cloudy and was cloudy all day. Sometimes though it can be the other way around.
Plenty of oddities to see in wales too. Mines, waterfalls, old quarries etc along with the usual beaches and mountains.
A little closer for you (I think you are london?) might be the gower peninsula. Rhossili beach and worms head are magnificent.
All on my doorstep, lovely area, although I am biased being Welsh :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::A You may be only one person in the world,
But you may also be the world to one person. :A0 -

Still not finding much time to keep up with the thread but but hope everyone is OK
I got a message earlier about the Thorntons and was sitting in the car outside my local Extra, just about to leave. Thought to myself 'I can't pass that one up' so headed back into the store and found them on the shelf with a £3.50 label!
Scanners out of action so I went to the Electrical Desk at the back of the store for a price check. The lady in front of me had a handful of Price Flop coupons in her trolley so I started to engage in conversation as I though she might be one of usand she offered me one of her Price Flops :j.
Got the choccies checked and they were £3.50 - boooo!!!
Then headed over to the lady again and uttered those immortal words 'Are you a friend of Martin's?'
Yes!, she said, so just want to say a big HELLO! to Enterprise :wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:.
Managed to help her out with some Make a Meal vouchers, then we had a quick look in the car section but nothing to be found there
Then went over to see if I could find the Smokey Pork Sausage and grabbed what was there and we shared it between us (I can't get them in my local).
The checkouts were nearly empty as it was school pick-up time and so put my bits on the conveyor belt, then looked up and saw I had chosen the Checkout Supervisor!!! When I gave her the first voucher she said I hadn't bought the right product, but I read the coupon to her - to be used for any Make a Meal product - and she put them all through for me, along with the £1 off £3 prepacked meats from the Price Flop :j
So 4 packs of sausage, some dog treats and half price peppers for 66p - that's my kind of shop!
It was great to meet you Bookworm. Thank you for the MAM vouchers, I had to go to CS to get mine sorted though! My peppers are chopped and frozen and my smoked sausages are in the fridge, probably a couple to be transferred to the freezer. Hope to meet up with you again sometime.
Magicowen - I LOVE the air show, but I would guess it would need to be your "sort of thing", I was brought up on planes and the suchlike, and am really quite excited at the prospect of seeing Virgin Galactic. It is fantastic, and the demos are great!
I was doing a serious shop today, but I only managed £39 down to £26, and I forgot my JTD! Fortunately that lasts till next month! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
