Hi everyone. went to T's to do main shop, saw some of the new indian meal tub things (like the tapas) reduced but there was only 2, thought i'd wait until i see 3 reduced to try them and hope the discount still kicks in for double offer:D i saw the cool bags there too, sel said they were £1 and no signs at all saying about offer, has this finished? i didn't get one anyway as it wasn't what i thought i expected it to be like a cool box i could use for picnics on days out but seemed like a small bag for life to meMorning everyone (well 11am is just still morning!) No Tesco for me today. Trip to the dentist with eldest son for brace fitting, followed by a day of making things for the summer fair...100 rings made already (just need to make 100 boxes to put them in now!), plus 50 kits of friendship bracelets, instructions written and photocopied. Millions of teddies washed and now sitting on radiators all over the house (well I couldnt peg them up by the ears on the washing line could I?) Wrapping 400 lucky dip prizes if I have time too!
Afternoon will be mainly making bags out of old jeans, ironing mums washing, visiting her in hospital, collecting kids, back to hospital and then some tea and a big tidy up!
Cor blimey I dont know how I managed when I had a job as well!:rotfl:
might steal some of your craft ideas here, i do quite a bit for the boys playgroup fundraising events especially the raffle with my supply of goodies i got for free or pennies, got some cellophane wrap on way to package it all nicely for them. just thinking next year may be quite busy though if i am expected to do the same for DS1 school he starts in sept and DS2 will still be at the playgroup. how will i decide who gets what?Gemini_Jes wrote: »It's not often I get nasty but I just had a telephone call from a guy claiming he was calling from 'Windows' and my computer was affected by bugs and if I followed his instructions then he could 'clean' it for me....knowing it to be a scam I asked him how he could sleep at night and told him he had no morals. He kept telling me to listen, I got nasty and called him scum.
The same 'company' have called me many times over the last few weeks and I have always remained polite but today I got angry. It's older people and those who are could fall for the scam I feel sorry for.
we get these calls too, my DH confuses the caller by telling them they have rung a computer repair shop and he is a computer technician:Dmymerrywidow wrote: »been to 4 tesco. all 4 were out of stock of jimmys chicken keiv and sausages. only 1 store would admit to stocking them.

I bought three of these (whoopsied) the other day but the double discount did not kick in. They were very nice though but not worth their original price.0 -

Has anyone local to me seen the trays at asda at cc?
Another random question; does anyone know if you can take sachets of cat food in your hand luggage when you fly? I'm only taking hand and I'm a sucker for all the stray cats in Greece and have loads that mine won't eat so thought maybe I could take some with me and donate themI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
