Well, I was true to my word and ventured out to a Metro!
What a waste!
First tried looking for the £1.79 pizzas and there were NO cheese ones left, so started looking for the 3 for £5 ones and again, NO cheese ones left!
SA just told me to look in the aisle and didn't bother to check the back.:(
So tried with a spinach stonebaked one which came to £3.xx at the till!:( It was at SS so I got it cancelled by helpful SA.
Now went on the search for Ben and Jerry's deal to find NO garlic breads at all, not even a SEL for it, NO Chicago town pizzas at all, not even one flavour or type.
So, on the hunt for the Birds eye deal, thought I'd found all the right items, but at the till, there were no dedctions and cost £6:eek::eek::eek:
There weren't any omega 3 fish fingers so guessing that was the wrong item.:(
Thought might as well go ahead with it as I had 3 value pizzas, first coupon went through OK at SS, 2nd and 3rd needed approval and helpful SA turned into trout after authorising both getting the total to £3.xx and then unauthorising it, after checking coupons:mad:
Third time lucky I hoped, so got 1 value pizza, 1 elmea cream and some strawberry cheesecake. Took everything to manned till, SA scanned coupon and then asked another SA if this was O.K to use, she said no and she took the coupon off the total!:(
Came home with 1 Elmea cream!:(
And to top it off, I got there at 7:40 and whoopsies were minimal and rubbish!:(
And before I forget, to trump that too, I saw someone walking back whilst I was walking to Tesco with a T's bag of £1.79 pizzas!:(:o
Hope you all had better Tesco days!:o

i agree with you. i can get better bacon etc at work. the lump of ham was 4.00. only want some free one's. 50p for 50g. What load of :mad::mad::mad:
t's are are raking it in. I know the cost of bacon wholesale.grocery challenge 9.86/600 -
They have the 2 for £3 banner showing the make a meal items and the ham etc but they don't stock the M-A-M items
I didn't bother with the ham there was about 4 small pieces, how they can possibly charge the amount they do for them and people buy it :eek:
Even at 3 for 2 and using the coupon I thought they were expensive, at free I might just about manage to take them away though:D
Have you looked in the frankfurter/salami section, thats where they were in my T'sIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
