I've yet to find any of the "make a meal" items the 2 T's I have been to have them advertised on a hanging banner but the staff look at you like you have 2 heads when you inquire about them:mad:
I've had them a few times in whoopsies. Usual one is ripped ham for making an ommelette etc. Its just bits of ripped ham rebranded though......tesco reinventing the wheel to make a few more quid as usual.0 -

Can you believe their prices. What a rip off. Put in that claim hun. If they want to charge premium rates for a postal service then it should be the dogs you know whats. I went to the post office a couple of days after they increased their postage prices and they told me they have never been so quite. There was no queue which was really unusual.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

£8.80 to deliver your parcel, and they could not manage it.
Therefore you should be compensated:)0 -
Yes it is the Crown, it has proper beer according to my OH and is where many of the celebs would call into if they are wanting a touch of real life, it is practically opposite the Europa Hotel which if you ask anyone in the city they will point you in the right direction.
many thanks .
I think we'll need info on train stations etc ...what station to get off at from Carrick etc .
I'm sure we'll spend a hour on line looking for info but there isn't anything as good as 1st hand knowledge .
Celebs ...oh no , I like salt of the earth folk .
Looks like a nice pint tho' . :beer:I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -

Hi have you asked at customer service desk? They are supposed to be able to check on their system whether their store stocks the product you are looking for.
I asked the guy stacking the prepacked meats in mine if they stocked them, he said no. Went a bit further along the aisle and there were packs of the turkey and stuffing. Very nice it was too, but only worth the £1 I paid for two packs imho.0 -
Well, I was true to my word and ventured out to a Metro!
What a waste!
First tried looking for the £1.79 pizzas and there were NO cheese ones left, so started looking for the 3 for £5 ones and again, NO cheese ones left!
SA just told me to look in the aisle and didn't bother to check the back.:(
So tried with a spinach stonebaked one which came to £3.xx at the till!:( It was at SS so I got it cancelled by helpful SA.
Now went on the search for Ben and Jerry's deal to find NO garlic breads at all, not even a SEL for it, NO Chicago town pizzas at all, not even one flavour or type.
So, on the hunt for the Birds eye deal, thought I'd found all the right items, but at the till, there were no dedctions and cost £6:eek::eek::eek:
There weren't any omega 3 fish fingers so guessing that was the wrong item.:(
Thought might as well go ahead with it as I had 3 value pizzas, first coupon went through OK at SS, 2nd and 3rd needed approval and helpful SA turned into trout after authorising both getting the total to £3.xx and then unauthorising it, after checking coupons:mad:
Third time lucky I hoped, so got 1 value pizza, 1 elmea cream and some strawberry cheesecake. Took everything to manned till, SA scanned coupon and then asked another SA if this was O.K to use, she said no and she took the coupon off the total!:(
Came home with 1 Elmea cream!:(
And to top it off, I got there at 7:40 and whoopsies were minimal and rubbish!:(
And before I forget, to trump that too, I saw someone walking back whilst I was walking to Tesco with a T's bag of £1.79 pizzas!:(:o
Hope you all had better Tesco days!:o0 -
