I used to be totally hooked on it. I would always seek out and buy things that were mis-spelled so that I wasn't up against many other competing bidders and got loads of bargains. As soon as I got the items I would re-list them with correct spelling and put them in a jazzier HTML format and double my money easily. My listing page was always a mixed bag of the most random stuff you have ever seen together because I didn't care what I bought/sold as long as it was mis-spelled:rotfl::rotfl:I've missed all the furore but have to say that selling goods for profit that were brought through the "nothing to declare" aisle is most definitely illegal. I would gladly turn in any friend/family member who I knew was doing it and thats the god's honest truth
I hope none of your friends or family are tax inspectors.;):rotfl:

Yeah they wheeled out two full cages of it. Quite a bit of it had missing tins, but the majority was all just damaged packaging. Mine are all full cases.
The bloke knows me as a regular and asked me if i wanted any. I picked a load then spotted a shopper with a case of 15 stella on his shoulder. Told him I could get him 24 cheaper and he should follow me! He did and was well chuffed! His missus had a case of pear cider too.
I drummed up a few more sales from the whoopsie brigade and the shelf stacker was over the moon as over half if it vanished off the cages without him having to hump it onto the shelves!
Fortunately I had a 6 off 40 till spit yesterday too.
Now then....how can anyone with that much cheap beer be grumpy!0 -
Got in an hour ago and needed dinner but mindful of how late it was I left the chicken caserole in the fridge! Quickly defrosted a pack of bacon (which just happened to be low fat 50% less salt) and had bacon and egg sarnies!
I went to asda on the way back from T's and got 3 ragu sauces and a tub of benecol spread and paid 11p so used the spread on my bread. Grilled the bacon rather than fired it and poached the eggs instead of frying those.
Was delish too!0 -

My dad and uncle both worked for HM Customs & Excise and all my ebay earnings were declared (and as they were my sole earnings whilst a full time student they were tax free)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
