Can you pay Sky bill monthly at the bank?

It can be waived as a charge, especially if the setting up errors were theirs, however if the customer opts to NOT pay by DD. the only way to ensure the charge is not levied is to ensure the whole amount of that month's charges are ALREADY in the account.
(The neat trick is to use BACS to credit the required amount 1 week before the billing run). If the funds are in the Sky account, no invoice charge is applied.
The other interesting fact is that Sky do not issue 'Invoices', but 'Statements'. So although these documents are very different, it is actually a charge made for a document that is never sent.0
